Weathercoud Beta 5 is Out!

Beta 5 is out!

After a few months of private beta, we’re really happy to announce that the waiting is finally over!

Beta 5 is now out and comes with a huge code refactoring to enhance overall performance, make the site more scalable to accommodate the rapidly increasing number of stations, and get it ready for all the exciting new features to come in the next months.

Our team has been working hard to make sure all features are available and working properly despite all the internal changes in this version. However, if you notice something isn’t working as it should, we will appreciate your feedback.

Thanks and keep enjoying Weathercloud!

Hi, I’ve a Davis Vantage Pro 2 with WeatherLinkIP. I’ve installed your module and got a returned “success” when I entered the ID and key to your website. However, my PWS is not uploading data despite the “success”. What might be wrong?

    That did it! Thank you.

I am having the same problem. I don’t know where the “Link device” screen in the instructions link came from. Am I supposed to rename my weather station? This seems like more trouble than its worth.

    • Weathercloud says:

Hi Charlie, to open the Link device window you need to go to the Devices page and click on Link device in the drop-down menu (the cog icon). Then you need to copy the ID and KEY provided for your device and paste them into the Weathercloud panel of your weather software.

I have done all that and it indicates success. Its the next part that is unclear.

    • Weathercloud says:

After pasting the ID and KEY provided for your device into the Weathercloud panel of your software, it will start to upload your weather data in less than 10 minutes.

The only thing you need to do is keep your weather software running so the linking process can be completed.

If you tell us what program you are using we can give you more specific information. Thanks.
